Deadly Hypocrisy

24 October 2002

Around one thousand Russian theatre goers including many women and children are being held hostage by Islamic Chechen terrorists in the heart of Moscow.  At the beginning of the month a French oil tanker was attacked by terrorists off the coast of Yemen, thought possibly to be the work of bin Laden, the incident taking place at the same time as the Bali bombing.

Yet Russia and France continue to try to stymie American efforts to destroy Saddam Hussein who although not an Islamic fundamentalist, is just as dangerous a terrorist.  There is a discussion as to whether he has nuclear weapons and even a weapons inspector such as the American Scott Ritter wants to see a ‘smoking gun’.  It can only be termed lunacy and hypocrisy.  As US Sec. Of Defense Donald Rumsfeld pointed out, once there is a ‘smoking gun’ it is too late.  Take North Korea for instance, they now admit to breaking all agreements concerning non-development of nuclear weapons and have obtained ‘the bomb’.  Just what the liberal, trusting, open minded, democratic west needed, especially Europe.

For sure Moscow and Paris have something to hide, most likely they helped Saddam Hussein develop whatever weapons of mass destruction he has in his possession including his nuclear program.  Eventually these secrets will get out.

All the hypocrisy will backfire as Islamic fundamentalist terrorists have no intention of compromising with the west on anything.  France, Russia and anyone else will be used until it is their turn to be over run by the forces of Islam.

Lenin said it best when he was preparing his world wide communist revolution when he declared that attaining the physical means to destroy capitalism would not be a problem since the capitalists will sell the revolutionaries the rope in which to hang them.

One can rest assured Islamic fundamentalists relate to France and Russia in the same fashion.
