Terrorist Naifah Arrested

15 November 2002

By Yisrael Ne’eman

Mohammed Naifah, terrorist mastermind who planned the Kibbutz Metzer attack was arrested yesterday in the West Bank. Israeli security forces surrounded his home and were about to enter when he began to negotiate.  Involving international and human rights organizations such as UNESCO and Betzelem (an Israeli group who concern themselves with Palestinian rights) he finally surrendered after five hours.  He exited unarmed and in his underwear.

The majority of suspects and confirmed terrorists are arrested in a similar non-violent manner by Israeli security forces, it just does not become a news story.  Anyone who served in the Palestinian areas or knows someone who has is familiar with the procedures. But it is not reported in the west since it is not interesting.  Remember Tanzim/Al Aksa Brigades leader Marwan Barghouti?  He was also surrounded and allowed to surrender.

Just consider the contrast between their arrests and the deaths of their victims.
